MISSION STATEMENT

In partnership with parents, the primary educators of their children,  St Vincent School empowers its students via an integrated curriculum infused with Catholic Christian values to live the gospel message and to face with confidence the spiritual, academic and social challenges of life in a changing world.

SCHOOL-WIDE LEARNING EXPECTATIONS 

Students at St Vincent School are striving to become:

1. COMMITTED CATHOLIC CHRISTIANS WHO:

- have a personal relationship with God
- understand and can explain Catholic beliefs
- live as Jesus taught us
- understand that choices have consequences
- see their successes, failures, and motives realistically

2. LIFE-LONG LEARNERS WHO:

- master the fundamentals in all subject areas
- appreciate and create music and art
- use computers for research and skill building
- use critical thinking skills
- meet challenges and solve problems wisely
- have healthy habits of competition and collaboration
- take pleasure in constructing knowledge on their own

3. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATORS WHO:

- listen actively
- write clearly, logically and correctly
- speak confidently and with poise

4. RESPONSIBLE, GLOBALLY AWARE CITIZENS WHO:

- respect life in all its forms
- understand and appreciate personal and cultural diversity
- treat fellow students with courtesy and respect
