Jesus Rises Lazarus from the Dead

A Note from Sr. Kathleen

Jesus spoke a word of life to Lazarus who had been entombed for four days. He called out, “Lazarus, come out of the tomb!”

Lazarus came out. His hands and feet and face were wrapped in pieces of white cloth. So Jesus said to the people, “untie him and let him go.” When they saw what Jesus did many believed in him. – John 11:1-45.

Our theme for reflection at morning assembly this week is New Life. In this gospel passage from John, Jesus said to Martha and in turn to each of us, “I am the Resurrection. I am the life. Anyone who believes in me even though they die, they will live forever. Do you believe this? Martha answered, Yes, Lord, I believe you are the Christ.”

Continued prayers and blessings for your Lenten journey.
