A Note from Sr. Kathleen
Palm Sunday is the beginning of the holiest week of the liturgical year. The liturgy this week commemorates the significant events in Salvation History. The Lenten season will conclude on Holy Thursday and the Paschal Event or the Easter Triduum begins. On Holy Thursday (7:00 pm) we celebrate the institution of the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood. Good Friday (7:00pm) reminds people of faith of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. On Holy Saturday (8:00pm) we celebrate with great joy the Resurrection of Jesus, Alleluia!
This week, I wish you great joy and blessing as you remember and celebrate the great and holy events of our faith.
Thank you to fifth and first grade and all who came to mass on Palm Sunday. It was a joy to see so many of our families.
Thank you to all who supported Phil’s Lenten Fish Fry. Our SVS students served with a smile.
Keep collecting Box Tops for Education. We will have a collection at the end of April.
Money was found on the yard and turned in by a student on February 3rd. The amount matches the sports fee of $45.00 but was an unusual mix of bills. If this is yours, please stop by the office and talk to Margaret.
